CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) SAFETY CONTROL PLAN

Dear Valued Clients and Visitors

Strata & Co. offices remain open and are always contactable as usual, via phone, email and scheduled video calls.
Like many other businesses, we continue to monitor the impact of the coronavirus (Covid 19 Virus) closely and follow the advice of the World Health Organisation and Australia’s Chief Medical Officer.

As the COVID issue continues to evolve, the health and well beings of our families, staff, customers and community is a high priority. We have implemented plans to continue to operate and placed controlled measures to ensure service to you; our valued clients continue with minimal disruptions. The plans implemented relate to the following:

Health & Safety

Basically, it is business as usual for Strata & Co. We have enforced strict standards to include:

  • Ensure hand sanitizers and soap is available at site visits, offices and amenities.
  • Implement sanitary protocols mandatory for all employees to follow.
  • Implement isolation plan for teams and workgroups.
  • Implement varying work schedules to suit individual complexes and projects.

Precautions taken include:

  • Encourage employees to wash hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer’s regularly.
  • Promote social distancing between employees with each other and members of the public (no handshakes, hugs, hi 5’s and remain at the recommended distance of 1.5m where applicable).
  • Avoid close contact with people with cold and flu symptoms.
  • Cover coughs and sneeze in tissue or your elbows.
  • Avoid touching face or mouth.
  • All staff that are feeling unwell have respiratory symptoms or other related symptoms including sore throat, coughing, headache, fever and nausea should not attend work.
  • Anyone that becomes unwell will be immediately sent home.
  • Employees are not to share stationery, water bottles or food between each other.
  • Business Continuity Plan

    Our aim is to continue working in this tough and extraordinary circumstances with guidelines implemented to include:

  • Provide clear and defined work zones with tradesmen and onsite visitors.
  • Isolate our staff into smaller groups and or teams. Each team is isolated from each other. This will allow other teams to take over in the case of an outbreak in a particular group and avoid any inconvenience or temporary shutdowns.
  • Avoid non-essential work where possible.
  • Minimise interactions with public and clients and where possible communicate only with phones, emails and video calling.
  • Adjust work schedules.
  • Employees to avoid travel on public transport, taxis, rideshares and attendance to public spaces.
  • Minimise visits to meetings, complexes and projects.
  • Place a contingency plan in place in the event of an emergency.
  • Strata Meetings

    In regard to upcoming Strata meetings, Strata & Co. strongly recommends that voting online through the portal which can be found on our website with your login details or via proxy form should be highly taken into consideration for meetings that are non-essential for face to face attendance. Video meeting requests will be decided on a per complex basis

    We would like to remind everyone, that brief comments along with your vote for each motion is allowed if you wish to vote with conditions.

    Postponing:

    The Owners Corporation may decide to postpone meetings to a future date and time if suitable, please note that we will need sufficient notice (minimum 72 hours) to respectfully notify others.

    Onsite Notices

    Strata & Co. will be placing important health and safety notices and information at entrances of complexes that have common doors to multiple lots to ensure all owners and visitors practice good hygiene and prevent any further spread.

    If any other complexes for e.g. townhouses or villas without common doors /entrances would like copies to place in areas you may feel necessary, please call or email our office and this will be arranged.

    *Notices will be supplied and installed at no charge.

    We will follow stringently the guidelines of Government and Health Authorities and will inform you if anything changes in our operations. We value your support and we want to assure you that we remain open for business to assist you at any time.
